My name is Ramy, I founded Bush Signature to share my passion for the natural environment and the incredible wildlife of my beautiful homeland, Tanzania.

Over the years, I’ve led countless safaris as a head guide, gaining over a decade of experience in the field.

I was born and raised at the boundary of Serengeti National Park in a family where my father had four wives and 20 children — 9 brothers and 11 sisters. We were raised in a mixed pastoralist/hunter community until I went off to university at Mweka African Wildlife College where I studied for a Bachelor's Degree of Tourism & Wildlife Management.

 

After graduation in Tanzania, I went to South Africa to study at Ulovane Environmental Training where I received my guide certifications, whereby I went back to Tanzania and started to work with high-end safari companies such as Singita, Selous Safaris, Asilia, Legendary Expeditions, and Overseas Adventure Travel.
